Former Palmeiras player Jorge Valdivia left the hospital after being hospitalized for three days for panic disorder

After being hospitalized for a few days, the former soccer player and Palmeiras idol Jorge Valdivia (39) was discharged from the psychiatric hospital on the night of this past Monday, the 15th. The former athlete had been there since last Friday, the 12th, after appearing to have a panic attack.

According to information from the Chilean newspaper “La Hora”, he was in the hospital for three days after a mental health problem due to sudden attacks of acute anxiety, in addition to physical and emotional symptoms. The former player was released by doctors after responding well to medication and is accompanied by his parents, recovering at home.

Also according to the publication, Valdivia suffers from personal problems since she separated from Daniela Aranguiz, after 18 years of relationship. After the end, he would have been involved with deputy Maite Orsini.

Valdivia, it is worth remembering, announced his retirement from football in July 2022, after his discreet passage through Necaxa, in Mexico. In Brazil, he defended the Palmeiras shirt twice: in the first passage between 2006 and 2008, and in the second from 2010 to 2015.

With the alviverde shirt, the Chilean played 241 games and scored 41 goals. In addition, he won the titles of the Campeonato Paulista in 2008, the Copa do Brasil in 2012 and 2015, and the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B in 2013.
