It is known that in this competition it is very difficult for there to be no accidents. And, this, coincidentally happened this weekend. Beyond the touch of the reef and the utter insanity experienced in the “Last Chance” test, all cars finished healthy. The streak, however, was broken this Monday.

It is that in the tests scheduled for today there was a brutal accident involving the English Stefan Wilson and Katherine Legge as protagonists. It happened in practice 8, with Canapino on the track -he was 11th- when both touched and hit the wall hard.

Legge managed to exit under his own power, but Wilson, who will start in the same row as Canapino, had to wait a long time to get out of the twisted metal of his car and was taken by ambulance to hospital. The encouraging sign is that the Englishman gave a thumbs up as he was being carried away on a stretcher. His car was totaled.
