The striker of the team must not only score goals, but must also hold the ball, crush defenders, assist, circulate the ball, among many other things. Today, the great forwards are the most valuable players on the market because they usually pay with goals. For this reason, the English magazine Four Four Two has today published the list of the 10 best center forwards in the world of football, with an Argentinian among them.

Erling Haaland

The top player on the list is Erling Haaland. The 22-year-old Norwegian is a real beast: he has broken records continuously since arriving in the Premier League, reaching double figures in just six league games, scoring four hat-tricks and breaking the single-season goalscoring record in Europe’s most competitive league. From his early days at Salzburg he showed himself a predatory striker who had an eye for goal and it showed when he arrived at Borussia Dortmund where he also broke all records, this led Guardiola to take him to Manchester City to put him to the test.

kylian mbappe

The second place is occupied kylian mbappe. The Frenchman has a question about his future at PSG, even after signing the best contract in 2022 and rejecting Real Madrid, Kiki was the star of a team with no game idea. Having scored 35 goals this season, his dribbling, agility and, above all, speed also stand out; This is seen in every match of Kylian who made Ligue 1 defenders suffer for 4 years. Moreover, He was the figure of France second in the world, where he scored a hat-trick in the final.

Karim Benzema

Who completes the top 3 is another Frenchman but with more experience and with a different quality of realization compared to the other strikers: Karim Benzema. The Frenchman has an offer from Saudi Arabia and doesn’t know if he will continue at Real Madrid, even if he is never short of goals. His shooting accuracy, strength, drive and enormous work rate are just outstanding for a 35-year-old, and he doesn’t look like he’s slowing down anytime soon.. Although this season has not been the same as the previous one, El Gato gave titles to the Madrid team with the goal formula and the bond with his teammates. All this makes Benzema the third best striker in the world.

Harry Kane

We entered in fourth place and the chosen one was Harry Kane. The Tottenham striker went one-on-one against Haaland, but the Norwegian’s superhuman results overshadowed Kane’s season, who if not for the android would have been the best striker in the Premier League. Mainly because he plays for Spurs. The English forward’s 25 goals prove how vital he is to Tottenham. Everyone will miss him if he goes to Real Madrid or Manchester United, teams that have offered money for Kane’s services. On the other hand, he became Spurs’ all-time top scorer and is second on the EPL’s top scorer list with 208 behind Alan Shearer.

Victor Osimhen

Fifth place is occupied Victor Osimhen who stood out this season and with his goals gave the Scudetto to Napoli after 33 years of drought. When he arrived at the Neapolitan team, it didn’t pay off as expected, but in the most recent campaign, the Nigerian scorer has scored 23 goals in 29 games and is one of the figures of the Napoli champions. Osimhen is a simple striker and has only one thing in mind: to score goals. Either way, his hunger to get the ball to the back of the net is evident. After his great performances, the big teams in Europe started asking for him.

Robert Lewandowski

Sixth place goes to the experts Robert Lewandowski. The prolific Polish striker became the first player to score UEFA Champions League hat-tricks for three different clubs: Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Barcelona. At the age of 34, Lewy decided to accept the challenge of the Catalan team and where he was the top scorer in La Liga with 23 goals, as well as being crowned champion with the Blaugrana. Robert has always been a box predator having scored 344 goals in 375 appearances for the German giants. He remains unstoppable.

Lautaro Martinez

In position 7 we find the Argentine in the list, Lautaro Martinez. El Toro is the Inter Milan captain who returned to the Champions League final after 13 years, as well as having been one of the leaders of Argentina’s World Cup-winning team in Qatar. Despite not scoring a goal at the World Cup, Lautaro showed what he’s made of with his 20 Serie A goals and having been featured in the Orejona semi-final against their classic rivals, AC Milan. The Argentinian has blistering pace and voracious finishing, as well as being one of the best at keeping the ball on his back. So, several English clubs have made offers and it’s easy to see why.

Gabriel Jesus

In position 8 we have the Brazilian Gabriel Jesus, of the English Arsenal. The Brazilian’s movement, connection to his strike partner and tireless effort in every game make him one of the Gunners’ great figures. However, what stands out most about the former Manchester City ex is the way he harasses defenders, including his definition in front of goal, making this player one of the best strikers in the world.

alexander isak

In ninth place there is Alexander Isaac. The former Real Sociedad striker has signed for Newcastle and it was the best decision he has made. Since he increases the pressure on a young player and Isak has overcome that pressure: he has lived up to the expectations of the Magpies fans. Injuries were present in the Swede early on, but after recovery he made up for lost time by scoring goals every 2 games and destabilizing defenders with his explosive pace and fine finishing.

dusan vlahovic

Finally in tenth place we have dusan vlahovic. Having scored 49 goals in 108 appearances for Fiorentina, the Juventus managers took an interest in him, signed him and were expecting big things when the Serbian arrived in Turin in January 2022. However, he has yet to show his full potential with the Old Lady where he is going through a period of transition. And not only that, even in Serie A he has accused injuries and problems with the club, which have not helped the 23-year-old either. However, Vlahovic is a spirited forward who is adept at controlling the ball from a long ball while running back or even battling defenders on the passing play. All he needs is a good attacking duo to be able to excel at Juve.
