Ever Banega and another nod for his return to Boca: the Christmas post that brings him closer to Xeneize

Ever Banega is approaching Boca. After the photo of his son wearing the Xeneize shirt went viral days ago, the 35-year-old midfielder has now published a post in which he clarifies that his period in Al-Shabab of Saudi Arabia is over.

“Merry Christmas everyone. Enjoying my last Christmas in Saudi Arabia. Wishing you all the best and a prosperous new year.” The footballer who left the club La Ribera and champion of the 2007 Copa Libertadores posted on his Instagram account. A clear wink to the Boca fans.

Banega, winner of the World Cup with the Argentine national team in Russia 2018 and Olympic gold in Beijing 2008 together with Lionel Messi and Ángel Di María, will terminate the contract he has in force with the Saudi team until June 2024 to keep the pass in his possession and thus complete his return after 16 years.
