It has been known for weeks that Martínez has everything in agreement with Boca to become the team’s new coach. But the coach has not yet communicated his decision to Huracán, the club where he managed the last semester and with which he managed to stay and qualify for the quarter-finals (they lost on penalties to Platense) of the Cup of Lega after winning his area. .

Last Tuesday, an official report from Boca announced the “agreement” with Martínez and it exploded at Huracán. “We are waiting for him to present himself and resign. Today he was supposed to present himself in La Quemita to resign or work and we found a statement from Boca,” Garzón said in dialogue with La Red radio.

“Hurricane needs to get the money, we sign the resolution and that’s it. They bypassed us (SIC) from the first moment but we will not give up anything”, warned Garzón, who is about to celebrate three years as president of Globo.

And it followed: “If this happens and they announce the manager, obviously I will be angry, this does not apply.. What happens if today I say that I have reached an agreement with Cavani or Romero? We will go against whoever we have to face,” De Martínez said “He can’t be a coach again” of Huracán and that “he should have respect for Huracán. That they announce him as the new coach while he is still coach of Huracán is outrageous.”

As for Martínez’s successor, Garzón admitted that it is Facundo Sava, but he cannot yet sign the contract because the Gigolo issue is pending: “We have spoken with Sava but we cannot close anything until it is decided. We were with a technician to end the year, from one day to the next and now he is not responding. I can’t do anything with Sava, it’s inconvenient.”

And he concluded: “We hope it can be resolved. Let him go wherever he wants, he leaves in despair and does not respect a club that has given him everything. We must assert ourselves.”
