With the sad news, his girlfriend, Julia Araujo, made an outburst on social media when commenting on her boyfriend’s death. In Instagram stories, she said: “Today was the end of my life. Please don’t look for me”. Soon after, she even showed a photo of them on the beach and said: “My whole life. I love you forever”.

Who was Diego Braga?

Diego Braga was a professional Muay Thai and MMA fighter. He started his career in 2003 and has already fought in the UFC and fought with brothers Rodrigo Minotauro and Rogério Minotouro.

At 44 years old, he had already retired from fighting since 2019. Since then, he was an MMA teacher at a gym in Rio de Janeiro and was the coach of his son, Gabriel Braga.
