With all teams confirmed, next Monday, March 18, starting at 8pm in Argentinaat the Conmebol headquarters in Luque, Paraguay, the draw will be held to find out how the groups will be formed for this competition.

It should be noted that since only two teams from the same country can meet in the group stage if the qualifying stages have reached, Argentine teams will only be able to meet in the round of 16.

Lottery format

The 32 participants will be divided into four pots of eight teams, based on their position in the ranking published by CONMEBOL in 2023. Members of Pot 1 will lead zones A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H, and will play against a rival from the rest of the ciboria. The first in each zone will qualify for the round of 16, while the second will play a play-off against the third in the Copa Libertadores.
