What are the most famous books in the world?

Thanks to its spread throughout much of the world, there are books which are known even by those who have little interest in literature. There are even those who boast of having read them, without even having opened them.

Some of these works, among other things, contain religious teachings and they are fundamental to their believers. Others are study material and others, material political diffusion.

But there are also titles whose fame is linked to the fact of having become one best seller in a short time or be “classics” that always sell.

As in other cases, although there are many lists, many of them coincide in mentioning the works of undisputed fame.

The most famous books in the world

A parameter for knowing the most famous books in the world are the lists of the best sellers in history. In this sense, the ranking drawn up by Mark Manson, a best-selling author. Here is the top ten:

1) The Bible. For many researchers it is the most read and translated book in history. Judeo-Christian teachings, grouped in the Old Testament (before Jesus Christ) and the New Testament (life of Jesus Christ and beginnings of Christianity) always invite reflection. 10) Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (Lewis Carroll). Published in 1865, it remains one of the best-known books of Victorian literature. It tells the story of little Alice who, having fallen into a den, enters a fantasy world figures and characters anthropomorphic (100 million).
