Frédérick Gaudreau and Kaprizov reached the power play target for the Wild, who had shut out six power plays in the previous game. Joel Eriksson Ek added two goals for the Minnesota side, which tied the series 1-1 against their Central Division rivals.

The Blues, who will host Game 3 on Friday night, did not beat Marc-André Fleury until Jordan Kyrou moved the ropes in power play midway through the second period. Vladimir Tarasenko has purpose and help to a loser.
