Tom Brady will join Fox Sports as an analyst when his gaming career ends, the American network announced Tuesday.
However, it’s unclear when that will happen, as the star quarterback recently reversed his decision to retire. The holder of seven Super Bowl titles instead chose to stay with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to play their 23rd season in the NFL.
Fox Corp. Chief Executive Lachlan Murdoch confirmed the information in a conference call with investors.
Murdoch added that the choice to enter the world of media is coming completely to Brady. The 44 -year -old led the Bucs to the Super Bowl in 2020 and the National Association South Division championship last year. Along with Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, he has won the Super Bowl 6 times in 20 seasons in New England.
Fox recently lost top commentators, Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, to ESPN positions. Buck was dramatically replaced by Kevin Burkhardt.
Murdoch did not detail the details of the deal with Brady.
