The Olympic and Paralympic trials for the 2024 Games will be played in Montreal, from June 27 to 30 at the Claude-Robillard sports complex, Athletics Canada announced on Thursday.
The competition will be used to determine the athletes who will represent Canada in Paris.
Athletics Canada is excited to be back in Montreal and give the Local Organizing Committee the opportunity to host the full and real Olympic and Paralympic Trialssaid Mathieu Gentès, CEO of the federation.
Montreal hosts the final selections in 2021, as well as the Canadian Championships in 2019. In 2021, the competition took place with a limited number of participants, no spectators and no media representatives due to the COVID-19 pandemic. .

In 2022 and 2023, the Canadian Championships will be held in Langley, British Columbia.
