Djordje Mihailovic was forced to miss the American team’s camp

CF Montreal midfielder Djordje Mihailovic could not take advantage of the invitation he received to attend the American selection camp. His injury sustained on Saturday at Stade Saputo will prevent him from participating in June.

Hitting the ankle at the start of the clash, the CF Montreal player tried to continue against Cincinnati FC, but in vain, the pain was too severe. He was finally replaced on the field in the 17th minute of play.

USA Soccer announced Mihailovic’s departure in a statement on Monday, saying no other players will be added to the roster until the CONCACAF Nations League and Friendships in June.
