While the details for a new presentation of the national team commanded by Lionel Scaloni against Estonia are being defined; On Sunday morning the sound test was held for those who will sing the Argentine anthem. But who will be the artist who will sing in the Spanish stadium of Osasuna? This is a 17 year old girl: Calla.

Her full name is Kala Bidner, although she is known by her stage name, Kala. She is an up and coming singer who will turn 18 in a few days, on June 26th.

The artist who will sing the stanzas of the Argentine anthem in this Sunday’s international friendly has impressive international experiences: he sang with Franco De Vita at the age of 9 in front of seven thousand people at the Luna Park stadium; and during this 2022 he performed together with Cristian Castro with whom he shared the stage of the Movistar Arena, in front of 15 thousand people.

The young woman began to venture into music at the age of 5 and learned the piano. From the age of 10 she expands her artistic vision of her: she studies dance and contemporary dance. And with only 14 years she started composing her own songs.

There are two broadcast cuts, one in Spanish and one in English. The first single that was accompanied by a video clip is the song Why ?; the second cut was “Stop wanting”; while the theme in English, the first, is “Go away”.

In the video uploaded to her Instagram account (@kalabinder) she can be seen testing the sound right in the stadium where the Argentine team will play at 15, against Estonia.

Although all the focus will be on the new presentation of “Scaloneta”, who will seek to extend the unbeaten record by 32 games, it is worth paying attention to this new Argentine artist who will sing the Argentine national anthem on Spanish soil.
