The Montreal Canadiens are hiring Marie-Philip Poulin as a player development consultant along with her hockey career.
General manager Kent Hughes made the announcement Tuesday. He will hold this position part-time.

Among his responsibilities, Poulin will be called upon to work on the ice and in video sessions with players to refine their individual and collective skills, in collaboration with the director of player development, Rob Ramage, and to hockey development director, Adam Nicholas.
