Kylian Mbappé saved France from another defeat and the world champion is still winless

France managed to recover a point this Friday in Austria (1-1) thanks to a goal from Kylian Mbappé, who saved his team from second defeat during the third day of the League of Nations.

Andreas Weimann (37) managed to overtake the Austrians, who were leading on the scoreboard until Mbappé (83) equalized in the final leg of the match.

The team coached by Didier Deschamps they were superior, with better chances and more focused on attacking than the locals, but good isolated play helped Austria move forward and dominate the scoreboard.

In the second half, the French put pressure on Patrick Pentz’s well-defended goal and Mbappé’s tackle half an hour from time reinvigorated the French attack. They blue. The Paris Saint-Germain superstar managed to score the equalizer and was on the verge of reaching – a few minutes later – the winning goal.

Croatia beat Denmark 1-0 and now leads Group 1 in Category A of the UEFA Nations League with 6 points.

The match was played at the Parken stadium in the city of Copenhagen and the Croatians won with a goal by Mario PasalìAtalanta midfielder.

League B – Group 2: Albania 2- Israel 2

League C – Group 3: Azerbaijan 0- Slovakia 1; Belarus 1- Kazakhstan 1.

League D – Group 1: Moldova 2- Latvia 4; and Andorra 2- Liechtenstein 1.
