Villarreal, along with Argentines Gerónimo Rulli, Juan Foyth and Giovani Lo Celso, host the mighty Bayern Munich at the Estadio de la Cerámica for the quarterfinals of the Champions League, aired by ESPN and Star+.
The Yellow Submarine will have another surprise after eliminating Juventus from qualifying when they take on Bayern, who will start as favorites after crushing Austria’s Salzburg by a resounding 7-1 thrashing in their round of 16 rematch.
In the 2011/12 season, the Spanish team shared a group with the Germans and lost both matches: 3-1 in Munich and 2-0 at home.
The rematch is next week in Germany and from this key will emerge rival winners Benfica from Portugal and Liverpool from England.
