With his victory over New Zeland at the Ahmad bin Ali stadium in Al-Rayyan, Costa Rica agreed by sixth time in its history (and for the third consecutive) to the final phase of a World Cup and has completed the grid of 32 teams that will participate in Qatar 2022, from 21 November to 17 December.
The winner of the last ticket was awarded a seat one of the toughest rounds of the tournamentthe E, with which he will compete two world champions: will make his debut on Wednesday 23 November against Spain, will face Japan on Monday 27 and will close his participation against Germany on Thursday 1 December.
A few hours earlier, with the qualifiers to Australia (they defeated Peru on penalties), Group D ended, which will be led by one of the best candidates to win the trophy: France. The ocean team and the current world champion will compete with Denmark and Tunisia.
The other ticket that was finalized this month was that Welsh beat Ukraine with a 1-0 win in Cardiff in the last game of the European playoffs. The team coached by Ryan Giggs They will share Zone B with another British team, powerful and troubled England, and with those selected between two countries that have had tense diplomatic relations for more than four decades: the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The other five groups were already fully integrated as of April 1, when the draw was held at the Doha Congress and Exhibition Center. A will be the one that will have the host as seeded and also one of the three selected that have Argentine coaches: the Ecuador of Gustavo Alfaro. It will also be made up of the protagonists of the first match of the race: Holland and Senegal, champion of the Africa Cup which was played this year in Cameroon.
There is the letter that all Argentine fans have impressed on their heads since April 1st, just like they did in Germany 2006. That will be the area that will lead the team led by Lionel Scaloni, which will debut on Tuesday, November 22nd against Saudi Arabia and then the forces will be measured against Mexico, the cast led by Gerardo Martino (Saturday 26th), and Poland, with Robert Lewandowski as banner (Wednesday 30th).
Two strong European teams will coexist in group F: Belgium, second in the FIFA ranking behind Brazil (and leader of that ranking between April 2018 and February of this year), and Croatia, second in Russia 2018. The partners will be Canada , who will return to the World Cup after 36 years, and Morocco.

Zone G will have a leading protagonist: Brazil. The cast of Tite will compete with Switzerland and Serbia, two teams that in view of the European qualifiers have relegated two powers from Old World (Italy and Portugal respectively) and with Cameroon, third in the African Cup.
Group H will be a retrospective journey for Diego Alonso’s Uruguayan team to some of the happiest moments of their last three World Cup appearances. The Light blue will share the area with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portuguese, eliminated in the round of 16 in 2018; South Korea, a rival he defeated in the round of 16 in 2010; and Ghana, the opponent he beat in the unforgettable quarter-final in South Africa.
