A man got tired of buying sneakers, so he came up with an idea as crazy as it is original: he had tattooed his favorite shoes to always wear.
This person turned to the South African tattoo artist Dean Guntherwho went viral a few weeks ago for drawing ultra-realistic abs on another man.
The 34-year-old expert’s new challenge was to “look twice” when he looked at his client’s feet. Basically, we wonder if he’s shod or tattooed.

Gunther designed a pair of Nike sneakers for the man. the work was hard. He began by observing and analyzing the original 360-degree image of the model and continued to draw it freehand on his feet.
Two hours passed before he was satisfied with the sketch. Then it took another eight to make the tattoo permanent.
“Drawing the tattoo by hand was the most challenging part. I had to make sure everything flowed with the contours of the body. A stencil wouldn’t work here, so it’s all freehand,” explained the tattoo artist.

“He’s tired of paying for shoes, so he decided to get his favorite pair of Nikes tattooed and he can see the fun side of it! Definitely an excellent conversationalist. His wife also loves it, ”Gunther said.
The South African, who lives in England and has a shop in Greater Manchester called DG Tattoo Art, has posted the video of the process and the result of his new work on TikTok.

“I had seen really bad attempts before. Since I specialize in color realism, I wanted to try it out. I thought it would be fun, ”the tattoo artist told The Sun.
In this case, the client had some difficulty due to the pain caused by the needle. “He almost gave up the first day, but in the end we got to the result,” revealed the South African.
