And the idol of the brand, he had the services of a great squire, like the Cuyo Bernard Keyr.
But this season, it looks like something has turned on. That’s what Llaver occupies a more important roleflaunting its excellent conditions, which now place it among the exclusive protagonists of this TC2000.
And this time he won at the Oscar Cabalén racecourse in Cordoba. Very happy, beyond the victory, the atmosphere generated by the large number of people in a TC2000 competition. A circuit where almost everyone feels local, since most of the teams are based in the Mediterranean province and usually tests take place on that track.

Berni Llaver won the sixth date of the year, of the 12 that include the financial year 2022. A victory that places him at the top of the championship. The joy for the man from Mendoza after a Saturday that closed it with more anger than satisfaction. Instinct told him to go even further, even if the contractual logic dictated that he had to stay behind the champion.

The race did not yield much, in a circuit known to all. Llaver had an overwhelming pace with the Chevrolet Cruze and took a convincing victory in the TC2000 final in the Cabalén, scene of the second round of the 150 year old Pirelli Challenge, a small race, something like a Grand Slam within the conventional championship.
The final began with Llaver leading the pack, escorted by Jorge Barrio (Toyota), Leonel Pernía (Renault) and Ignacio Montenegro (Renault), who lost two places. While fifth was Canapino. Then came the abandonment of Ezequiel Bastidas with Fiat and Facundo Aldrighetti with Toyota.

In the last moments, Facundo Ardusso, who had won the Sprint with the Civic of the Puma Energy Honda Team, he reported the breakage of the right front tire and had to return to the pits.

With fifth place in the TC2000 final, Canapino remained at the top of the championship, sharing that privileged place with teammate, winner Bernardo Llaver. However, the race continued after the checkered flag.
In the technical review it was found that Canapino’s Chevrolet was below the regulatory weight. While it makes no difference, it was found that the weights to comply with the penalty rules were missing by just 250 grams.
After the checks carried out in the technical inspection area, it was finally confirmed that it was below the regulatory weight.
However, the Chevrolet team appealed the order. Guillermo Cruzetti, the team’s technical manager, spoke with Carburando after the measurements: “We are going to appeal against the provision. We seemed to be comfortable with the weight, but on the scale of the technical authorities it makes a difference. Therefore, as happens in these cases, the sanction is challenged and a new official weight will be held this week, with the disputed elements.
In this way, the new fifth then, until the appeal was resolved, became Julián Santero (Toyota) of Mendoza.
Fineschi, in the TC2000 Series
Tomás Fineschi and the Fineschi Racing Peugeot 408 returned to the TC2000 with victory in the final of the sixth round of the season at the Autodrome of Alta Gracia. Isidoro Vezzaro and Miguel García completed the podium. With this result, Montenegro is the new leader of the tournament, with 128 points, escorted by Marques, with 127 and Aramendía with 98 units.
In the National Formula Emiliano Stang won the final at the Cordovan racetrack. Tiago Pernía and Thomas Pozner completed the podium.
