With the participation of three speakers – Horacio Anselmi, Maximiliano Prino and Maximiliano Rinaldila Rea Associationsponsored by the Sports Secretariat of the Municipality, held the conference aimed at coaches and coaches of the Racing Teams, in view of the international tests in the coming months: 21k from Buenos Aires and the International City Marathon.

The Parque Sarmiento campus was packed with 120 trainers and teachers, members of the RT in the metropolitan area. Professor Horacio Anselmi – former sports director of Boca and ENARD methodologist, one of the most recognized in his specialty in our country – spoke of “Strength training for runners”. Maximiliano Prino, a member of the technical staff of the Metropolitan Athletic Federation, made it “Trainings and methodologies for long distance runners” and Massimiliano Rinaldi, Hon “Prevention of injuries in runners”.

The day was also the setting for the exchange of information between the Association and the representatives of the Race, who have a strong participation in the races. In addition to their general classification, there will be awards for the three best RT of ladies and gentlemen of each test as in the last massive editions.

The 21k of Buenos Aires will start on Sunday 21 August at 7 on Avenida Figueroa Alcorta and Monroe and will include the South American and national half marathon championships, while the marathon will start in the same place and at the same time, Sunday, 18 August. September. Both events are included in the calendar of the international federation (World Athletics) with the category “Label Races”.

The exhibitions, in the Parque Sarmiento

The Parque Sarmiento will also be the headquarters of the Expo before the competitions, where participants will be able to enjoy the activations of the various sponsors and collect their numbers and kits, upon presentation of a document and certificate of Medical Eligibility. The Expo for the half marathon will take place between Thursday 18 August and Saturday 20 August, from 10:00 to 18:00, while for the marathon it will take place between Friday 16 September and Saturday 17 September simultaneously.
