Luis Suárez will play for Nacional de Montevideo. The Uruguayan striker confirmed the news about him on his social media, with a video in which he was grateful for the signs of affection received in recent days by the club where his career was born.

Former Liverpool of England, Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid, among other teams, said they have closed a pre-agreement with the management of “Bolso” and that only administrative issues remain to seal his signature.

Born in the Uruguayan city of Salto in 1987, Suárez made his official debut with the Nacional shirt in May 2005 and said goodbye in July 2006 after playing 48 games, scoring 12 official goals and winning the championship twice.
