After hanging up his boots, he began his career as a sports manager. His first steps were taken at Olimpia in Paraguay as a sports manager. From 2010 to 2012 he held the same role at Rosario Central.

In 2014 he was hired to cover the position of sports advisor of the APF (Paraguayan Football Federation). His career continued to grow. In 2016 he made the leap into the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol). He first assumed the position of Director of Development and was subsequently appointed Deputy Secretary General. He held that position until September 2021, when he decided to step down. He is currently a strategic consultant for South American football at FIFA.
