A Romelu Lukaku when he returned to Inter he only needed 82 seconds to score, but that was the case Denzel Dumfries who defined the match with a goal in discounts, so that the Inter won 2-1 this Saturday, visiting the newly promoted Lecce.

Dumfries’ goal comes just at a time when it seemed that Inter would be resigned to a disappointing draw.

Milanfor his part, he began the defense of his scudetto with a victory. They won 4-2 over Udinese, with the help of a controversial penalty.

Inter Milan brought Lukaku back on loan a year after his arrival Chelsea. In his last season with the Nerazzurri team, the Belgian helped win the Scudetto.

Interestingly, Lukau began his second stint at Inter facing the same team he played against in his previous debut three years ago. On that occasion, he also scored for his team by winning 4-0.

And this time, Lukaku took less than two minutes to resume his production with Inter. Federico Dimarco kicks a ball from the left and Matteo Darmian crosses again for Lukaku, who ends a step away from the goal.

Unlike Lukaku’s original debut with Inter, Lecce don’t give up this time. The hosts equalized shortly after half-time when Federico di Francesco gave Asslan Ceesay a shot just inside the far post.

In the 60th minute Lecce nearly took the lead, but goalkeeper Samir Handanovic deflected a Kristijan Bistrovic free-kick.

In the fifth minute of injury time, the defense failed to mark Dumfries, who scored from the chest after the Argentine Lautaro Martínez had deflected a corner kick towards the goal line.

Controversy with the VAR

It took less than 10 minutes to reach the first referee controversy of the Serie A season, in the victory of Milan with a penalty.

Udinese surprise and take the lead before Milan captain Davide Calabria collides with defender Brandon Soppy in the area.

After a long pause to review the incident on the monitor, referee Livio Marinelli awarded the penalty to Milan, much to the anger of the away team.

Theo Hernández scored and immediately after Ante Rebic gave Milan the lead.

Adam Masina equalized with a goal before half-time, but Brahim Diaz gave the Rossoneri the lead before Rebic scored the second goal in the 68th minute.

After 11 years of lack of trophies, Milan kicked off the title defense in front of a sold out crowd at San Siro.

But Udinese was one of two teams – along with Juventus – that Milan failed to beat in their title campaign.

Meanwhile, Atalanta began their season by beating Sampdoria 2-0.

And the tycoon Silvio Berlusconi returned to Serie A with a defeat. His newly promoted club Monza lost 2-1 at home to Torino.

Berlusconi owned Milan for 31 years before selling it in 2017. The former Italian premier bought Monza the following year.
