Boca beat River 1-0 in a Superclásico that could be pivotal in the fight for the championship and were two points behind the leader, Atlético Tucumán. Two months after his debut as a DT, Negro Ibarra won the duel against Marcelo Gallardo. And that dominance was reflected in the performance of the players.

1×1 by Boca

Agostino Rossi (/)

Always provides a key save. And this was the beginning of the match, with Mammana’s header. River attacked him little, but the goalkeeper showed once again his solidity in an important match.

Luis Advincula (6)

Pure physical power, he was superior in every heads-up and provided momentum from the back row. From the side of him he released Polo shirt Fernandez goes on without worries.

Nicola Figal (7)

His best game in the club, without complications in the brand and with the peace of mind to go out and play. He had 45 minutes in which he suffered very little with Suárez and then he fought with Borja.

Red Frames (5)

He reached the limit physically but played for what he is: a leader. Temperament, firmness and timeliness in the aerial game. He was sent off, again, but he won a new classic.

Frank Fabra (6)

Very little was projected on the attack, contained by the brand and the brand of Herrera, during the first half. He was conditioned by the incorrect yellow card Herrera took from him in the first half and was released in the second phase.

Martin Payero (7)

His starting role was Ibarra’s great surprise and the defensive and tactical work ended up being fundamental: he played on Enzo Pérez and came out judiciously in an innovative position on the left.

Alan Varela (5)

With little participation in its best version, in distribution, it limited itself to making an orderly game from center to back.

Pol Fernandez (6)

Much better in the first half, with controls and play forward. In the second phase he tried it from the outside but his work, like that of all Boca, was more tied to setbacks.

Juan Ramirez (6)

Another beautiful classic, important for acceleration from midfield and from the left. In the first 45 minutes he tramples the area decisively but without aiming. These games bring out the best version of him.

Luca Langoni (5)

Solidarity, important in the pressure, weighed little in its role of imbalance. He played his first Superclásico, he replaced Villa and did it in an acceptable way but in only one aspect: the defense.

Dario Benedetto (7)

It was a special game, that of redemption. He cut a streak of straight wins without converting with a goal that served to win the Superclásico. In the first half he was more busy pressing the opponent, well with the ball but he contributed to the most decisive thing: the goal.

Norberto Briasco (5)

He came in to make a constant play of rubbing against River’s defense. This was the indication from the bench and he developed it well, despite the fact that he did not collaborate in the offensive task.
