A group that was going to Mendoza with Boca fans suffered a serious accident today at noon in the department of San Martín, 40 kilometers from the provincial capital. The accident occurred on route 7, in front of the Jorge Angel Pena racetrack and the causes of the accident are still being studied.
The news spread through social networks with images showing the bus overturned on the east access at San Martín . Additionally, a video was added where injured fans were seen on the ground waiting to be treated. The photos are eloquent and worry the Boca world.
According to the media of the Andean province, the accident occurred shortly after 12:30 on the road that goes west. Judicial and police sources confirmed that everything would be the product of the puncture of one of the front tires . The bus would change lanes until it rolled over onto its shoulder.
The bus transported more than 30 fans from González Catán to Mendoza. In addition to the woman who lost her life, many people were injured and they had to be transferred to several hospitals to receive medical treatment.
