Through this proposal, the company Mark Zuckerberg seeks to become a bridge for new generations to enter the emerging job market.

The course will last six months and will train more than 700 young people from the provinces of Buenos Aires, Chaco, Chubut, Entre Ríos, Misiones and Santa Fe.

With the support of the Ministry of Public Innovation, young people will receive workshops based on a predefined learning path from Meta and Puerta 18 so that they become experts and access new economic opportunities.

Students of all skill levels will be offered the opportunity to have mentors assist them in preparing to take the certification exam.

The total amount that will be invested by the technology company will be greater than the 50 thousand dollars and will be used for scholarships for students wishing to obtain Meta Spark Studio certification, the company’s platform that allows the creation of Augmented Reality (AR) effects.

The initiative will be face-to-face and virtual, it has been segmented into 4 phases and will take place across Target projecta platform that offers online learning courses, training programs, and certifications that help you get the most out of Meta tools.

“It generates a lot of enthusiasm to know that, from civil society, the state and the private sector, there are sectors that invest and develop Argentina but, above all, from each of our young people, there is a vocation to train, continue to learn and above all, to try to transform talent into wealth, development and benefits for the community”, said Sergio Massa, Minister of the Economy.

Another job opportunity

Software engineering firm Streambe seeks to expand its staff of contributors, half of them overseas, with the incorporation of developers, testers, devops, analysts and project managers. Remuneration starts in $3,000 a month For profiles with experience.

It also offers training opportunities and, although English is not exclusive, every incoming employee has the opportunity to access courses from basic to more advanced level, at least once a week.

According to Argentina’s Chamber of Computer Software and Services Companies (Cessi), 15,000 positions remained vacant in the local market in 2021. The pandemic has generated an exponential growth in the need for digitization of companies and institutions, which has underlined an offer that is also attracted by the dollar salaries of foreign companies.

On the other hand, flexibility in terms of home office and remote working is, for Streambe, an outdated problem: “For us, being a digital nomad is not an advantage, but a lifestyle. From the outset we have considered working from home a right and not a benefit”, explains Andrea Perfetti of Streambe.
