One of the latest features that Meta has advanced in is that of login messages restricted or encryptedthat require an authentication system (such as a password or fingerprint) to access confidential content.

This new option is integrated into a special tab within the “Chat” section, which is called chats blocked (blocked chats) and which collects sensitive conversations that, for some reason, the owner chooses to keep away.

Once in the blocked sector, the owner of the device will be able to access all these encrypted chats through a password. Those who have a fingerprint registered on the device will also have access permission.

This portal also recalled that, to improve privacy, in the event of unauthorized access attempts, the user will be asked to delete the content of the conversation in order to open it.

This is why many have started calling this property Cheating Mode, since it is ideal for hiding compromising chats, which you prefer not to leave exposed to the naked eye.

Also, this tool will ensure that media files such as images or videos shared in blocked chats are not automatically saved device gallery.

The instant messaging platform is working on new features focused on privacy and recently introduced new features such as voice notes for a single listen or video messages, which can neither be saved nor forwarded.

Subsequently, the instant messaging platform added a function that allows you to send photos or videos that can be viewed only once. Now the Meta app has revealed that it is working on a novelty that would allow you to share video messages.

Through this feature, users will be able to record and send videos of up to 60 seconds to their contacts by simply holding down the camera button. A service that could revolutionize the way we communicate and compete with traditional vocal notes.

According to the specialized site WABetaInfo, the Meta app already has an option hidden within its test version for developers that allows you to send and receive this type of message.

This specific feature for video messages has been localized in the TestFlight beta program for iOS, version 23.6.0.73. And, contrary to what currently happens with sending any video through the app, this new feature will not allow you to save or forward the video message.

Security measures for text and voice messages will become part of video messaging. That is, they will be end-to-end encrypted, so no one will be able to see the shared videos intercepted.

The date when this WhatsApp feature will be available to the general public is still unknown, but work is underway to implement it in a future update of this application.
