The same fate is reserved for several video games in the Splinter Cell and Rayman series, including Origins (PC, Xbox 360, PS3) and Legends (PC).

Player statistics are no longer counted online, and exclusive virtual costumes (skins) as well as cards, can no longer be unlocked.

Ubisoft has specified that games using Ubisoft Connect will no longer be able to rely on rewards in units (Ubisoft Connect’s virtual currency) after completing a challenge, these two functions have been deactivated.

Contacted Radio-Canada, the video game giant in France wanted to reassure: We didn’t suddenly retire 91 games, those games shut down various online services from 2013 to 2021, and we didn’t shut down online servers for any games in 2022.

We are not lightly making the decision to retire services for older Ubisoft games.
