PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR 2 promise once again to be the center of attention this Wednesday in a new Playstation showcasethe digital event of the video game company in which they usually present their new projects or exclusive previews of some already presented in the orbit of playstation studios.
The broadcast, which will kick off at 5pm in Argentina, will feature many of the exclusive titles from studios Insomniac Games, Naughty Dog, Media Molecule and Sucker Punch Productions, as well as new additions Haven Studios and Firewalk Studios.

That means fans may hear from fans this afternoon Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Marvel’s Wolverine from Insomniac, the game Horizon Multiplayer guerrilla and many other projects not yet revealed so far.
It is also very likely that Factions 2the multiplayer title based on the universe of The last of us 2. It is one of the great projects of the PlayStation entertainment ecosystem and, although its existence is already known, a first foray into its world could give several ideas to the conference.
Similarly, although it comes from a related company, the recent announcement of Mortal Kombat 1 makes its presence possible as well.
Other sources have ventured that a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, whose development corresponds to the Japanese Konami, could also be part of the virtual event. The same goes for Silent hill 2even if it would be through a trailer with the gameplay or a preliminary sequence in which the first steps of the game are shown.
Sony said last year that it plans to launch more than 10 games on the service by 2026, and the Showcase could offer more insight into that since it’s a more ambitious broadcast than the traditional State of Play.
Sony’s latest PlayStation Showcase aired in September 2021. That 40-minute event revealed the planned remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine and offered a short advance to Project Eve the game now known as Starblade .
Likewise, several of the other featured games from that broadcast have already been released since then, including Gran Turismo 7, God of War Ragnarök, Ghostwire: Tokyo, Forspoken and Deathloop all in 2022.
