Sony is putting the brakes on a scheme that allows gamers to get a discounted subscription to the new version of its PlayStation Plus service, which will launch on June 13th.
On this date, the company will consolidate its platforms PlayStation Now at PlayStation Plus to offer a new cloud-based game streaming service (cloud gaming) which is better and more competitive than its predecessors.
The tech giant has indicated that subscriptions PlayStation Now will be automatically converted to a subscription PlayStation Plus premium from June. Sony had previously tried to withdraw the annual subscription PlayStation Nowwhich costs about half the subscription price PlayStation Plus premiumfrom his website.
However, players have found a way to purchase an annual subscription voucher PlayStation Now and put them together so they can enjoy years of subscription PlayStation Plus premium mura.

Sony responded quickly. Since Friday, the tech giant has been preventing video game enthusiasts from combining their subscription vouchers. Thus, it is impossible for them to activate a subscription voucher if they already have a subscription under their belt.
The company ensures that players will be able to re -combine their subscription vouchers when the new version of PlayStation Plus will be launched in June.
However, Sony clarified that subscriptions will now be converted based on their value. For example, a one year subscription voucher to PlayStation Now can be made a subscription PlayStation Plus premium six months.
