Marco Zuckerberg at the head of his company Meta is working on a new promotion option Instagram. A project proposes to convert all published videos to coilsa tool that competes directly with Tic knockas part of simplifying the way this content is reproduced.

As published by the site TechCrunchthe social network tries to promote the Reel format, which consists of short 15-second videos in which you can make audio changes or apply effects and filters.

According to social media consultant Matt Navarra via Twitter, the social network now features a notification informing users that all video posts will be shared as Reels.

Furthermore, thanks to this feature, any user will be able to discover a video and use its original audio to create a Reel as long as it has been published in a public account.

Any other member of the community will also be able to create a Remix – this type of video that is made in duo – and download it. That is, in case the author of this reel does not turn off this option.

In other words, if a user with a public account does not want other users to be able to remix their content, they can disable this option from the Settings section. However, even these content creators will have the option to disable this feature individually, in each of the coils.

On the other hand, for accounts configured as private, the “reels” will only be visible to their followers and other users who have been denied the follow request will not be able to access them.

So far, it’s not known whether Instagram plans to roll out this change soon or how many people will have access to this option, which remains in the testing phase.

This new business strategy comes just a few months after Meta revealed that Reels now account for more than 20 percent of the time people devote to social networking.

It does this even days after starting to test a new design of its own Power supply to offer the content in full screen, with a style very similar to what TikTok now offers.

On the other hand, Mark Zuckerberg this week announced more ways for content creators to earn money on Instagram and shared updates that will help creators as his business moves into the web3 and metaverse.

As part of this program, “Facebook Stars” have been announced for all creators who meet a variety of requirements. Meta’s goal is for more people to start earning with their reels, live video or video on demand.

Stars represent a digital asset that fans can purchase and send to support creators, allowing them to earn money and create deeper connections with their audiences.
