If you can’t log in to Twitter, You are not alone. From 11:00 p.m. on Monday, August 29, many Internet users encountered difficulties accessing the social network.
On the Downdetector site, which lists Internet users’ statements of technical incidents, a spike was noted in France at night. Shortly before one in the morning, hundreds of users indicated that the cut persisted. In Spain, Germany and the United Kingdom, the social network was also inaccessible from the version for computers
On the other hand, Twitter was still accessible from the mobile app. In France, 95% of complaints made between 11 p.m. Monday and 1 a.m. Tuesday concerned website-related problems. Downdetector indicated a similar rate in the UK (90%) and Germany (71%).
