Netflix will preview the new series “The Midnight Club”, one of his new horror productions. It will have ten episodes of 50 minutes each and shouldn’t have a second season.
Its creator, Mike Flanagan, has worked with Netflix repeatedly. He is a writer and director of other series such as “The Hill House Obsession”, “Midnight snack” and “The Haunting of Bly Manor”, and from the film “Gerald’s Game”.
The story of this new series is based on the novel by Cristoforo Luccio of the same name, which with its release in 1994 managed to get a large number of sales.
What is “The Midnigth Club”, the new Netflix series about?
the plot of “The Midnight Club” follows a group of adolescent patients in the hospital Brightcliffe Hospice, suffering from terminal illnesses and gathering at midnight to tell horror stories. During the series they will have to face several paranormal phenomena that will question the innocence of their stories.
On several occasions Mike Flanagan has spoken of this story as one of his own Favorite books and like a novel he has always dreamed of adapting to the screen.
