Jair Bolsonaro breaks the silence this Tuesday, two days after Lula Da Silva was consecrated president-elect of Brazil.
Brazil lives for these hours a block day on the routes fired by Bolsonaro fans, who still do not recognize Lula’s victory last Sunday.
Brazil’s Supreme Federal Court ordered the federal traffic police to immediately clear hundreds of highways across the country blocked by truckers supporting the president.
A majority of the court’s judges supported the decision, which accused the traffic police of “omission and inaction”.
In the run-up to the second round, Bolsonaro had repeatedly questioned the reliability of the country’s electoral system, arguing that electronic voting machines are prone to fraud.
But he never provided evidence, even when ordered by the electoral court.
