Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his religious and far-right allies won a majority of seats in last Tuesday’s legislative election, the Election Commission announced on Thursday.
The right-wing bloc won 64 out of 120 seats in parliament, split between Netanyahu’s Likud (32 seats), ultra-Orthodox parties (18), and an alliance of far-right forces (14).

Former Prime Minister Yair Lapid’s centrist bloc won 51 seats.
