A London Metropolitan Police (Met) agent known as the ‘Beauty Queen’ was sacked on Tuesday (1) after authorities found drugs, cash and a marijuana plantation in her London home.
Rasvinder Agalliu, 47, had worked for the company for nearly two decades. He was arrested on charges of conspiracy to supply drugs and has been under investigation since 2020, when police conducted search and seizure operations on two of his properties.
But according to the Daily Mail, Rasvinder was not charged with drug offenses, but for violating the Met’s standards of professional conduct. The abuse commission also found that the woman violated police standards regarding honesty and integrity, dishonorable conduct, duties and responsibilities, as well as orders and instructions.
Agalliu, a mother of three, also worked as a physical education instructor. She has a dream of becoming an actress and regularly participates in beauty pageants. She shares her athletic lifestyle via social media.
Chief Superintendent Owain Richards of the Midwest Command Division, the former agent’s station, said Rasvinder’s actions were “a gross breach of the trust the people of London have bestowed upon him”.
He added that such behavior will not be tolerated in the company. “We are determined to get rid of all police officers who do not meet our standards and to ensure that they never work in law enforcement again,” he said.
In this regard, it reported that the former police officer could no longer be employed by the police, local law enforcement, the Independent Police Conduct Office or Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Police and Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS).
In a report, the inspectorate said it found it ‘too easy’ for people with criminal convictions or connections to organized crime to join the police and recommended that more stringent verification procedures be adopted.
