This Saturday (5th) March 31st LGBT Pride Parade in Buenos Aires was attended by a crowd whose streets and streets were filled with the colors of the rainbow, in an atmosphere of both celebration and pending claims.
“The XXXI Pride Parade begins. WE HAVE THE DEBT. Integral Trans Law – Anti-Discrimination Law – Yes to Inclusive Language. A very crowded Atty. de Mayo. Parade to the Nation’s Congress. Tremendous happiness!!!”, one of the organizers wrote on the networks of the Argentine LGBT Federation .
Argentina is a developed country in terms of anti-discrimination laws, gender identity, same-sex marriage, and employment quotas in companies or government agencies for transgender people.
The LGBT community is calling for laws to be even more comprehensive against discrimination and include regulations in favor of trans people.
Since Friday night, the colors of pride have illuminated many emblematic buildings in the Argentine capital, including the Casa Rosada (government headquarters) and Congress.
