American President Joe Biden received the wedding guests of his granddaughter Naomi in a ceremony that was out of the reach of the press this Saturday (19) at the White House.

The 28-year-old DC attorney and Hunter Biden’s daughter married 25-year-old law graduate Peter Neal in a 250-person ceremony at the mansion’s South Garden at 11:00 a.m., according to the White House.

“It has been a pleasure to watch Naomi grow up, discover who she is and build such a wonderful life for her,” President and First Lady Jill Biden said in a statement.

We wish you days full of love and joy that deepen with each passing year.”

It is not unusual for the mansion to be prepared to host such events. According to the White House Historical Society, 18 weddings have been celebrated here, including that of President Richard Nixon’s daughter Tricia in 1971 and Pete Souza, the official photographer of Barack Obama in 2013.

Naomi takes her name from the president’s first daughter, who died as a baby in a car accident in 1972, in which his first wife was also killed.

The American media reported that Naomi Biden played an important role in the president’s circle of confidence and that she was one of those who pressured her to run for example in the 2020 elections.
