TikToker says he was followed with AirPods in his bag after the encounter

A TikToker shared with his followers the news that he encountered a man who, despite being suspicious, revealed himself in an attempt to track his location. Now she says to other women, “Be careful and pay attention to your surroundings, so you don’t experience the same thing.

Model and digital influencer Cory said that she and the boy went to the gym together in Los Angeles and were both wearing wireless headphones. After returning home, she began to open her unused backpack and realized that the man’s AirPods were inside.

“My instinctive reaction was that he was following me, which he certainly was, because there’s no other reason why he wouldn’t put his AirPods in my bag and tell me,” says the model.

He remembers that users of this Apple product got notifications when they left a place and forgot their earphones. According to Cory, this would indicate that the man had “deliberately” left the items there, as he hadn’t said anything about it at the time.

When asked if he had headphones, the guy said he wasn’t and even asked the influencer if he had stolen the accessory. Unsatisfied, Cory asked for an address to send to the boy who told him to keep the AirPods.

“I said, ‘No, thanks. Please send me an address by the end of the day,” Cory replied. ‘No, that would be a reason for you to see me.’ He was scared,” Cory says.

Apple’s wireless earbuds can be tracked by a website provided by the electronics company, which lets the guy know where he is.

The model even asked the man how the accessory looked on his backpack, but the man refused, saying that Cory was “thinking too much about it”.

According to him, the man has no social networks, not even LinkedIn, and does not take pictures. While she didn’t see it as a bad thing, she said that the man’s absence from the internet gave her a “bad feeling” and that she only accepted one more date because she did nothing.
