One of the big surprises at the Qatar 2022 World Cup opening ceremony was the appearance of Morgan Freeman. Although it was known that the actor would take part in the celebration, the networks did not expect him to be present.

Freeman gave a speech on uniting through football: “What unites us is greater than what divides us. We are one great tribe and the Earth is our shop. Together we can call all of us to unite”.
