An earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale was recorded off the coast of California, USA on Tuesday (20), the country’s geology service informed the USGS.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 16 km, about 12 km southeast of the town of Ferndale. So far, there are no reports of damage or injury.
In addition to the main earthquake, aftershocks with a magnitude of 2.5 to 4.6 degrees were recorded.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) reported that there were no tsunami warnings for the region.
