According to a note from the Vatican, Benedict 16 died at 9:34 am (5:34 am Brazilian time). The funeral will be held in St. Peter’s Basilica from Monday (2) to receive the last farewell of the faithful. The funeral will be under the presidency of Pope Francis on Wednesday (5) at São Pedro Square at 9:30 local time (5:30 Brasília time).
