Pamela Anderson55, she looked unrecognizable with minimal makeup in the trailer for an upcoming new documentary about her life on Netflix January 31st.
The former Baywatcher was recently the subject of a miniseries about her sex tape, a TV show that is said to have upset her.
Now, the blonde shares her perspective for Netflix in a documentary called “Pamela, a love story,” which has fans awestruck because of how different it looks from the height of his fame in the 90s.
The Netflix documentary will be released on the same day as her memoir Love, Pamela, published by HarperCollins and Dey Street Books.
“I didn’t sleep last night,” Pamela says at the beginning of the documentary trailer, along with footage of the sizzling sensation warming up by a campfire.
She’s immediately facing renewed public scrutiny over her sex tape, which she filmed with her first husband Tommy Lee of Motley Crüe.
The story of the film was recently dramatized on television in a mini-series called Pam And Tommy, starring Lily James and I heartthrob Tonya Sebastian Stan.
In the trailer, without mentioning the name of the miniseries, Pamela hints at her feelings about the reappearance of her sex tape. “I locked up that stolen tape of my life to survive, and now that it’s all out again, I feel bad,” she said.
Pamela confessed that she didn’t consider herself “very well respected” throughout her career as a sex symbol. A clip was shown where Ruby Wax asked her, “Did you want to be a serious actress?” and Pamela would answer: “I’m a serious actress!”, provoking a laugh.
In another look at her public image, she was seen briefly in a guest role as the gorgeous Barbie Heather Biblow in The Nanny opposite Fran Drescher.
“I had to make a career out of the leftover pieces, but I’m not the damsel in distress,” Pamela said in a voiceover. “I put myself in crazy situations and survived,” she confessed.
Footage of Pamela’s various professional adventures played, including what appeared to be one of her workouts for Celebrity Boxing.
He also underwent a Comedy Central Roast and was part of the cast of Chicago on Broadway, two performances that appear briefly in the trailer.
