This revelation was made by Bayly in his column “El francotirador”, in which he assured that the invitation was given to Miami when they were both much younger.

The writer recalled his interview with the Colombian singer 20 years ago. He said it between the two there was a strong alchemy and, according to what is indicated, the singer’s parents would have witnessed this bond.

“I met her when she came to Miami and she couldn’t speak English; her when she lived in an apartment on the beach and she drove a red convertible. No one had looked at me the way Shakira had looked at me that night.” Bayley said.

She added, “Her parents didn’t seem surprised that we looked at each other with that impatience or that eagerness to know what bound us so deeply.”

In his column, Bayly assures that Shakira invited him to see the film “Titanic”, but he refused because he was married.

In the column, the journalist claimed to be married to “Casandra”, who was actually Sandra Masías Guislain, with whom he was married between 1993 and 1997.

“When the interview was over, he left the studio, He suggested with his eyes to call her. But I didn’t call her because I was married to Cassandra and I was unhappy,” Bayly explained in her message.

The journalist closed his column: “And it was she, Shakira, brave as always, who called me one day and shyly told me who invited me to the cinema to see ‘Titanic’, in those days when people still went to the cinema. I told the beautiful immortal singer that I couldn’t go to the movies with her. He never called me again.”

As for the song Skakira did with Bizarrap, and in which she refers directly to her ex-husband, former Spanish soccer player Gerard Piqué, Bayly said: “The song is not elegant: it is vulgar. If he had asked me for advice I would have told him not yet, not so soon, don’t insult him so much, because after all the scandal will pass and He will continue to be the father of your two children.”
