The FBI was conducting this Wednesday morning a search of the president’s house Joe Biden in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, as he begins an investigation into his handling of classified material.
“Today, with the full support and cooperation of the president, the Justice Department is conducting a planned search of his home in Rehoboth, Delaware,” Biden’s personal attorney Bob Bauer wrote in a statement.
“In accordance with standard Department of Justice procedures, in the interests of operational safety and integrity, you attempted to perform this job without public notice and we agreed to collaborate,” Bauer said.
“Today’s research (for this Wednesday) is one more step in a thorough and timely process by the Justice Department that we will continue to fully support and facilitate,” he added, promising that more information will become available later in the day.
Reporters stationed in the coastal community observed black sport utility vehicles and sedans arriving home in mid-morning.
FBI search of Rehoboth Marks the third time notorious where federal agents search properties associated with Biden for classified material.
The FBI recorded earlier Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware, and found what his attorney described as multiple articles containing classified material. That search took place on January 20.
