Last January the Government of the Province of Buenos Aires confirmed the calendar of the school year for the year 2023. Unlike the program presented by the government of the City of Buenos Aires, that of the Province governed by Axel Kicillof indicates that the start of lessons will be on 1st Marchtwo days after the federal capital.
Compared to the total number of days of lessons that CABA students will have, students from the Province of Buenos Aires will have them 190 school days, two less than the Buenos Aires school calendar. The end of the lessons, on the other hand, will be there December 26th, four days later in the federal capital. Both start and end dates are valid for all educational levels.
News of the educational calendar of the Province
The General Education Council, who headlined the new educational calendar “40 Years of Democracy”, also added some news related to special days. Other special activity days established in the calendar are May 27 and 30, which will be commemorated on “Dating Violence Prevention Day” and the “International Day of the Missing”, respectively. The winter break will be between 17 and 28 July.
Kindergartens and higher education will have another calendar
The activity in kindergartens of the Province of Buenos Aires began on February 1st and will continue until December 29th. On the other hand, the High school education in the province, lessons will be held from 13 March to 24 November.
