The resolution of the Justice was that five of the rugby players, Máximo Thomsen, Ciro Pertossi, Enzo Comelli, Matías Benicelli and Luciano Pertossi, were considered by the judges as “co-perpetrators criminally responsible for the crimes of murder doubly aggravated by the premeditated conspiracy of two or more people and for treason in an ideal contest with minor injuries” and sentenced to life imprisonment.

While Ayrton Viollaz, Blas Cinalli and Lucas Pertossi, as secondary participants, were sentenced to 15 years in prison.
