The presence of parasites in dogs it is quite common. Many dogs, especially the smallest ones, suffer from this type of infection which is usually transmitted through the footstool from other dogs.

The most common parasites in dogs are roundworms. to exist three large groups of the most common – nematodes, tapeworms and unicellular parasites.

Nematodes

These worms usually appear in young dogs. The most common symptoms of an infection with this parasite are vomitweight loss and diarrhea. Also, although they’re normally contracted through infected feces, puppies can get it from their mother’s milk or directly from the uterus.

As these worms are about 10 cm long, thick can be distinguished in vomiting of the dog, which deserves a visit to the vet.

Although this other infection is also quite common in dogs, many no symptoms. They are transmitted by third parties, be it fleas or raw fish and meat. The main danger of tapeworms, however, is to humans. The eggs of these worms can infect people and cause serious illness.
