“I made it a rule not to drink or do drugs while working,” Matthew said. “Because I respected the five people I worked with too much. So I never got drunk while working.”
However, Matthew recalled going to work “extremely hungover”. She admitted, “There came a time when I was shaking so badly that if I went from the shelf to the table, I had to do it quickly and put my hand on the table to keep from shaking. It went so badly.”
“But Chandler, my character, never changed, the script never changed,” he added.. “It was my ability to cope with this addiction that I didn’t understand.”

Matthew admitted that “Noor you can watch the series again” because you can identify exactly which substances you took in which seasons.
“I was on 55 Vicodin a day, weighed 130 lbs, was in friends seen by 30 million people – and that’s why I can’t watch the show, because I was brutally thin,” she said.
“I didn’t see the show and I didn’t see it, because I could go drink, opiates, drink, cocaine,” he added later. “I could tell season after season by how I looked. That’s why I don’t want to see it, because that’s what I see.”
