Three twenty year olds are missing from early Saturday morning, when they went to the disco and never came back.
Sophie Russon, Eve Smith and Darcy Ross are desperately wanted by police in Newport, Wales after they never returned home after spending the night at a club called the Muffler.
Their friends believe that around 2am the three set off for an undisclosed location along with two men (one identified as Shane Loughlin) who were also missing.
Since then Russon, Smith and Ross have shown no signs of life. There is no trace of them on social networks, nor do they answer the phones.
Second Lauren Doyle, Eve’s sister, Smith’s car is still parked in Muffler. “I know they went to Maesglas Muffler and then Trecco Bay on Friday night, but they left for an unknown location during the night. “They were last seen around 2 a.m.,” Doyle reported on Facebook.
“None of them have contacted any friends or family, which is highly unusual. we are all very worried and thinking the worst”, concluded the woman.
A spokesperson for Trecco Bay Holiday Park told the New York Post, “We are aware of reports of five people missing. None of these people were registered guests at the park, however we are assisting the police in their investigation.”
The police are still looking for the young people, trying to clarify the mysterious episode and for everything to have a happy ending.
Final point for another basket case
This weekend, one of the most disturbing mysteries of recent months in France seems to have been solved: Leslie Hoorelbeke22 years old, and Kevin Trompat21 years old, missing since November 26 in Prahecq, they would appear lifeless.
The couple had spent the night at a friend’s house, the last to see them. They went to sleep in Prahecq, in a house lent by another friend, who doesn’t live there.
In December, the gendarmerie deployed a dog team and divers, away from the cameras, and the vehicles of the disappeared were seized. But until this weekend, there were no sure leads to find out what had happened.
In recent days, the agents, who had already questioned and arrested three people, young people aged between 22 and 23, found two lifeless bodiesone of a man and one of a woman following the tracks of the prisoners. It is believed that behind this result there is a question of drug trafficking.
The woman’s body appeared on Saturday in the forest of Virson, a town of 700 inhabitants near Sugères (Charente-Maritime), while that of the man was unearthed on Friday in Puyravault, about 40 kilometers away.
This Sunday the bodies had not yet been identified and an autopsy was performed on them, even though many French media already assume that they are those of young people.
